Opened in 1956, Herbert Hoover Middle School has served the students of the Long Beach and Lakewood communities for over 65 years. Hoover has a long tradition of success in academics, athletics, and providing students with the opportunity to become well rounded, productive members of our society. Located in the beautiful Lakewood Country Club neighborhood, Hoover serves a diverse community of students from all parts of Long Beach and Lakewood.
